FROM NICHOLE.
Multnomah Educators Rising presents a mini-docuseries, “See It & Be It”,
that highlights the voices of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color educators of Multnomah County.
Our stories celebrate the beauty and power of teaching and will inspire the next generation
of diverse students in one of the whitest cities in America.
As Nichole Watson, Principal of Prescott Elementary, put it best, “
education needs a rebranding… we must show a different narrative. A different side.
Of what it means to be an educator. It is lit up here!”
